instance administrators manage all blueprint user accounts from settings > user management > users creating a database user go to settings > user management > users select add database user complete the user's profile — required fields are marked with a red asterisk ( ) click save database user profile fields username — the username the user logs in with display name — the name shown in the top right corner of the interface email — the email address associated with the account title — the user's title within the organization department — the user's department instance administrator role — the role governing what the user can do in settings never expire password — if enabled, the instance level password expiration policy does not apply to this user disabled if the instance is already set to never expire passwords allow fallback from federated authentication — available only when federated authentication is enabled; allows the user to fall back to database login enabled — whether the user can log in license — determined automatically by the user's assigned role; not set manually source — whether the user is a database user or windows user adding a windows user go to settings > user management > users select add windows user in the modal that appears, use "add via search" tab to find and select one or more users to add or, use "add via list of emails" tab to specify a list of email addresses of people to add click ok to add the user(s) click save windows user profile fields username — (read only) the username the user logs in with display name — (read only) the name shown in the top right corner of the interface license (read only) determined automatically by the user's assigned role source — (read only) whether the user is a database user or windows user instance administrator role — the role governing what the user can do in settings enabled — whether the user can log in first name (read only) the user's first name last name (read only) the user's last name title — (read only) the user's title within the organization department — (read only) the user's department email — the email address associated with the account modifying a user go to settings > user management > users search for and click the user's username make changes as needed \[database users] to change the password, click change password , enter the new password, and click ok to assign the user to a group, click the group memberships tab > assign groups , select the group(s), and click ok to remove a group, click the corresponding delete icon click save ⚠️ group membership changes take effect immediately clicking cancel will not revert them deleting a user go to settings > user management > users search for and click the user's username at the bottom of the details tab, click delete click ok to confirm
