Code Blocks Report

The Code Blocks Report displays the types, count, and coding language of code blocks across processes in the selected scope. This report helps identify how much custom code exists in your estate and what languages are used — useful for estimating rewrite effort when migrating to a new RPA platform.

Accessing the Code Blocks Report

Open the RPA Dashboards and Reports dropdown in the navigation bar

Select Statistics

Select Per Process View or Per Call Tree View from the View dropdown

Click Change Scope, select your scope, and click OK

Select Code Blocks Report from the center dropdown

Exporting the Code Blocks Report

Click the Actions dropdown and select Export to Excel

Navigate to the Jobs page and click the download icon on the right side of the row ( Inline image ) when the export is ready

Glossary

Process Name — the name of the process containing code blocks

Hierarchy — the hierarchy the process originates from

Type — the type of code block:

Embedded — code contained directly within an action or stage

External — code referenced from an external file

Code Blocks — the number of code blocks within the process

Lines of Code — the number of lines of code within the code blocks

Language — the coding language used
