Before you can start authoring a document template, you need to install the document template authoring add-in. It only needs to be installed once.

To install the document template authoring add-in:

- Download the add-in from the [Blueprint community](https://community.blueprintsys.com/s/).
- Run the .exe file to install the Add-in.
- When prompted, enter the license number from the .txt file from the [Blueprint community](https://community.blueprintsys.com/s/).

You can find sample templates in the Samples folder in Downloads on the Community.
