Microsoft Connection is used to establish a connection between Blueprint and Microsoft Power Platform. Note this describes how to establish the connection only, and that selection of Power Platform Environment(s) is described:

- Migrate (export) environment selection, see: [RPA - Import/Export](docId\:miqCvzFhmCK8GEPHwJE1e)
- ALC environment(s) selection, see: [ALC](docId:0Qtv6AzAaN_MlY2MTj9v8)

⚠️ Before configuring this, ensure an Azure App Registration has been completed so Blueprint can communicate with your Power Automate environment. See [Azure App Registration (Power Automate Desktop)](docId\:Nh5EWQt-YtYEUs9nWBg7N)

# Configuration

::::WorkflowBlock
:::WorkflowBlockItem
Navigate to **Settings** -> **RPA Management** -> **Microsoft Connection**
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Enter the **Application ID** — found in the **Overview** section of your Azure AD app registration
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Enter the **Directory ID** — also found in the **Overview** section of your Azure AD app registration
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Click **Test Connection.** If your IDs are valid you will see a success message.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Click **Save**
:::
::::

The page reminds you that after a successful Test Connection you still need to choose environment(s). For Migration, set Environment on the RPA -** Import/Export > Export > Settings** page

:::hint{type="info"}
ⓘ It may take a few minutes to link to the registered app. If the environment does not appear, wait a few minutes and try again.
:::

To remove the current configuration, click **Clear**.

If you see a "Need admin approval" error when connecting, your organization restricts user consent to apps. See in the [Admin Permissions Error: Need Admin Approval](docId\:Nh5EWQt-YtYEUs9nWBg7N) article for the fix.
