an artifact is the overarching term for all individual assets within blueprint artifacts support the full rpa analysis and migration lifecycle and come in three base types document artifacts — allow you to upload a file and reference it from multiple other artifacts when added to another artifact, it is known as a document reference document references differ from file attachments, which can only be associated with a single artifact folder artifacts — used solely for organizing your project process artifacts — a sequence of user actions and system responses describing a business process or user to system interaction ⓘ instance administrators can restrict which file types are available for upload on a per project or instance wide basis ⓘ regardless of its type, any artifact can have relationships creating an artifact select the folder, artifact, or project you want the new artifact added to click the new icon in the explorer toolbar in the create artifact window, select the artifact type and enter a name; click add another artifact to create multiple artifacts of the same type at once click create saving and publishing artifacts saving changes creates a private draft visible only to you to make changes visible to other users, you must publish click publish or publish with comments in the artifact toolbar to publish individual changes click publish all in the explorer to publish all unsaved changes across the project at once searching for artifacts by artifact id click the go to feature in the navigation bar enter the artifact id and press enter by artifact name enter the artifact name or a keyword in the search open projects field in the navigation bar and press enter in the search results modal, click the artifact id link to open the artifact moving artifacts drag and drop select one or more artifacts and drag them to the desired location in the explorer hierarchies are maintained where possible — dropping an artifact into another makes it a child; dropping it above makes it a sibling ⚠️ drag and drop has the following limitations only supported in the chrome browser requires edit privileges in the project folder artifacts cannot be moved into a non folder location artifacts cannot be moved across projects via drag and drop a maximum of 500 artifacts can be moved at one time via the actions menu select the artifact in the explorer click the actions dropdown and select move and publish in the move to modal, navigate to the destination location to move to another project, click the back indicator next to the current project root to display all accessible projects choose whether to insert the artifact inside , above , or below the destination click move and publish ⓘ trace relationships and custom properties are all preserved when moving an artifact only standard artifact types can be moved to another project, and the artifact must be published and not locked by another user discarding and deleting artifacts discard — reverts the artifact to its last published version; click the actions dropdown and select discard delete — permanently removes the artifact; click the actions dropdown and select delete
