On import, Blueprint automatically labels every process as either a **Main** or a **Sub-Process**. Mains are the entry points of automations — the root process from which all sub-processes are called. This label drives how Call Trees are structured and measured in the Estimator.

:::hint{type="warning"}
⚠️ The Main/Sub-Process label exists solely for Estimator visualization and effort scoping. **It does not affect licensing.** Once Blueprint identifies a process as a Main for licensing purposes, that designation is permanent regardless of any label changes made.

# How Blueprint Identifies Mains

- **UiPath** — the Main is defined in the project.json file
- **Blue Prism** — the Main is the Main Page of an imported process; if a Blue Prism automation has multiple Main Pages, each is imported as a separate Main
- **Automation Anywhere A360** — all Root processes are identified as Mains
