After upgrading to a new Blueprint version, Bulk Reimport allows you to refresh your processes with the latest Blueprint version to ensure they leverage the latest mappings and enhancements. If you plan to use Estimator Dashboards, recalculating your processes ensures estimates reflect the newest data. **Migrator** supports doing both in bulk across entire projects.

***

# Accessing Bulk Reimport/Recalculate

Open the **Tools** dropdown in the navigation bar and select **Bulk Reimport/Recalculate**. A wizard will guide you through the process.

ⓘ Reimport and recalculation are applied to entire projects — you select which projects to include, not individual processes.
Only Instance Administrators can schedule a bulk job.

# Reimport and Recalculate Candidates

Blueprint automatically identifies projects eligible for reimport or recalculation:

**Reimport Candidates** — A project is flagged if:

- It contains RPA processes imported on an older version of Blueprint, **and**
- Additional mappings for that source RPA tool were added in the latest release

**Recalculate Candidates** — A project is flagged if:

- It has never been calculated before, **or**
- Any of the following actions were performed on a previously estimated project:
 - Artifacts were deleted
 - Artifacts were moved across projects
 - Artifacts were moved within a project
 - Additional imports were added to the project

***

# Reimport and Replace vs. Reimport and Keep

## Reimport and Replace

- The default and recommended option
- Reimports the selected project as a new project; the original is deleted after a successful reimport

## Reimport and Keep

- Reimports the selected project as a new project while retaining the original for reference
- Recommended only for smaller estates — keeping outdated projects over time may fill the database with obsolete processes

Enabling Reimport and Keep
:::

:::hint{type="warning" indent="1"}
⚠️ This action requires Instance Administrator permissions.

**Reimport and Keep** is hidden by default. To make it visible:

1. Open **About Blueprint** settings
2. Expand **RPA Management**
3. Select **Migrate**
4. Enable **Bulk Reimport/Calc: Show 'Reimport and Keep' option**
:::

### Obsolete Projects

If **Reimport and Keep** was selected, the original project is flagged as obsolete. Obsolete projects no longer appear as candidates for reimport or recalculation.

# Reimport and Recalculate

When reimporting, you can also choose to recalculate at the same time. Select this option if you plan to use Estimator Dashboards with your reimported data.

:::hint{type="info"}
ⓘ The recalculation option is hidden if **Enable Estimator Dashboard** is turned off in your instance settings.
:::

Projects flagged for recalculation only can be recalculated but cannot be reimported.

# Jobs

You can cancel the **Primary Reimport/Calculation Controller** job from the [Jobs](docId\:GgDAFdipIsMxVTx9xlXAo) page at any point before it completes.
